At long last the truth's out! Madam Amy's finally thrown down her gauntlet and revealed just how she feels about her father's second marriage. Not a great deal by all accounts. It seems that her reaction to Usha's "silence" on the truth of love-rat Carl was just a smokescreen afterall on how she really felt.

Well who would've thought it! Here was us, the faithful listeners to The Archers, thinking that all was well in the Right Rev Alan's and his sainted wife's home when in fact it was quite the opposite. Now that the truth is out its all very upsetting and I don't know what to think except to offer advice to you, Amy-love. One day, you might just come to regret your harshness towards the sainted Usha. Often words spoken in haste can be more revealing than what the speaker originally intended. When finally all that emotional hot air and dust settles on your sorry little story we, the listeners, will be left pondering the following:

Will you, Madam Amy, realise the folly of your hot words towards Usha?

Will you ever be able to show your face again to the Sainted One?

Will your very tedious vicar-father forgive your waywardness and embrace you fully to his bosom, declaring, "My daughter all is forgiven!"?

However, in disgust, will the Right Rev throw you out onto the streets one wet and stormy night, shouting, "There! Begone Daughter and never darken our doorway again until you learn to hold your tongue!"

Will Alice still be regarded as your truest mate that you're forever banging on about after she's tried to help you?

Finally, will love-rat Carl realise that its you he wants and not his gorgeous, rich lawyer-wife?

All these questions to be answered and only time will tell if Madam Amy learns to forgive, forget and reconcile herself once more back to the bosom of her family. Don't know really. Guess I'll just have to carry on listening.
