Poor Vicky! There's nothing she can do right in the eyes of that stepdaughter of hers. The poor love's tried but Brenda's a mean nut to crack. Hapless hubby Mike, who quietly yearns for a more peaceful life, just sits by and lets that mean nut of a daughter criticise his Vicky.

Well Bren, you're not really being a very grown up girlie are you? One thing you'd better realise is that your dad's not going to divorce his Vicky just because she's not your mum. Betty's been gone some time and yes, in losing a parent, you might never really get over it but Vicky's the new mum on the block and that's something you just gonna have to accept.

I think that before long there'll be a big blow out between the two but maybe not that is, if tomorrow's episode reveals just a little something more for our Vicky.

Well Vicky love - sometimes you can be very brash and extremely loud but your heart's in the right place. Lets hope a little gold falls your way ... and a word of advice to you Bren'. Learn some respect for others. Keep your opinions strictly to yourself. Your comments tonight re: Vicky's new dress was very much out of order.

Mike too - start standing up for your Vicky. Your Bren's got her own life now and really you should be telling her to mind her own business.

Take note you two!

I quite like Vicky, she is different from a lot of the other characters in the village. I did find her irritating at first but as RustickRose says her heart is in the right place and she can be quite supportive at times. I'm thinking of how she reassured Hayley when she was getting upset over Phoebe.
I hope things are going to turn out alright for her as she isn't always the most popular person in Ambridge.
I'm glad she has a friend in Lynda.

Brenda love, I've totally reformed my opinion of you. I've just finished listening to this Sunday's omnibus and all I can say is that you were fab with our Vicky. You've got heart there girl and today its showed. Well done!

Seriously writer-chap/pettes, well done there. Storylines, pacing and dialogue were handled very well. While ironing, I almost had a tear in my eye listening to Vicky and Brenda together.

Please keep it up and don't rush or overblow the storylines again. Please keep both the character-development and the timing rightly paced and a little under-done so we will want more.

If handled right, y'all might win some of us back from the Disgruntled Listeners of Ambridge.
