Did I imagine it? In the first 10 minutes of this morning's Omnibus, there were several silences where we should have been hearing Ruari. In the relevant daily episode last Sunday(21st), Ruari can be heard loud and clear. I wonder why he disappeared from the Omnibus!!
I know that the parts of the young children are recorded separately, and then inserted appropriately. Maybe the incomplete tape has been used as part of the Omnibus?

So is this why the message "This episode has been edited since it was first broadcast"', was played when I listened to the omnibus on iPlayer tonight?

The latest Archers omnibus - with added Ruairi - is now up for your listening pleasure. Apologies he was missing on Sunday morning.

All very strange. I wonder if it's something to do with Hallowe'en... perhaps there's a ghost in the machine?!... KW

Ah thank goodness - I thought on Sunday morning I had gone bonkers. I was listening live to the Omnibus and at first thought my radio had cut out because the digital ones do now and again but it appears it was the gremlins at work.

Erm, noext time can they cut out the voice of someone I'm not so keen on like whinging James or Helen?

Maybe Ruari sloped off to find his Irish accent. He seemed to get anglicised very quickly, but Jazzer gets more Scottish the longer he stays in Ambridge.
