Brenda visits Vicky to help her with preparations for the baby. Brenda asks how things are with Mike, and Vicky tells her she had a heart to heart with him on Friday. Vicky believes that Mike is now starting to want the baby. Vicky acknowledges that their child will need all the love that she can give and hopes she can help Mike to do the same.
Later on, realising that Mike and Vicky will need all their support, Brenda suggests to Tom that they defer their wedding.
Pawel tries talking to Adam but, preparing to leave for the airport, Adam brushes him off. They finally speak at the airport, just before Pawel heads off. Pawel thanks Adam for a great summer. After Pawel leaves, Adam kicks himself for being so harsh.
Later on, over a cup of tea with Adam, Jennifer cautiously says she suspects Pawel might be gay. Jennifer then asks whether anything happened between Adam and Pawel. Guilt ridden, Adam confesses to sleeping with Pawel after a row with Ian. Adam tells Jennifer that he feels terrible and asks her whether he should confess. Jennifer advises Adam to keep the betrayal a secret as it could do more harm than good. She thinks Adam should just concentrate on loving Ian.
