Alan asks Amy to watch his sermon, but Amy would rather be on her own. When Usha asks whether Amy is all right, Alan is sharp with her. Later, Usha takes Amy a cup of tea and apologises for not telling her that Carl was married; she just didn’t know what to do for the best. Amy is still furious that Usha thought Amy would knowingly date a married man. She blames Usha for allowing her to make a fool of herself. Downhearted, Amy says she no longer knows who to trust.

Ian brings Adam breakfast in bed. Adam is glad they’ve been able to spend so much time together, even if it is the result of a rather nasty head injury! It is Ian’s last day off work so the couple plan to make the most of it. Later on, Jennifer tells Adam that they’ve hired someone to help out with the farm work.

Jennifer compliments Alan on a lovely heartfelt service. While she chats about the Jubilee cake and the death of Fly, Alan is preoccupied with thoughts of Amy. Later on, Amy continues to ignore Usha. As Usha attempts once again to make amends, Alan asks her to let him deal with Amy.
