Brian faces competition for the contract to farm the estate land, but he is confident the location of Home Farm will give him the edge in the boardroom. He asks Adam to help prove their record of good service with examples of successful problem solving. Dismayed to discover that Brian went to Debbie before speaking to him, Adam makes it clear he doesn’t like being sidelined.

Emma makes an anonymous call to Crimestoppers suggesting they investigate Keith regarding the Brookfield fire. Later on, Emma tells Susan that the heat from the fire was so intense the patio table and George’s toys have been charred. Their chat is interrupted when Tracy bursts in with news of Keith’s arrest. Susan and Tracy assume that the police are victimising Keith due to his surname and his brother’s criminal past. Emma argues that the police will release Keith if he didn’t commit the crime. The sisters do not like Emma’s use of the word ‘if’ and are adamant that their brother is innocent.

By lunchtime, Keith is free and professing his innocence. His family continue to speculate who made that anonymous tip…
