Brian is feeling deflated by all the opposition to the dairy unit. Rufus suggests one decisive last push. He shows Annabelle and Brian a short DVD as an example of a visual way of representing its advantages. These include the possibility of having a small patch of grazing near the indoor unit, to be used as some of the heifers are drying off. Annabelle is unsure at first, but eventually Rufus wins her and Brian over with the idea.

Tony wants to help Tom out in the office but, despite the extra work, Tom tells his dad he'd like to do it himself. Tom reminds Tony that he has to take it easy - they don't want another scare. Later on, Brenda spends her afternoon off with Tom. She brings a picnic along, hoping to get him to relax. Tom says he's realised the office could do with an overhaul, including new software, but he doesn't want Tony to think he's changing everything in his absence. Brenda gently suggests that Tom takes it easy, reminding him he can only do so much. She encourages him to make the changes in the office and says that Tony will understand.
