Kenton tries to talk to Elizabeth about David, but she is still disgusted by his behaviour and blames him for Nigel’s death. Elizabeth declares she wants nothing more to do with her brother.
Susan tells Neil that Emma, Ed, the children, Christopher and her parents are all coming over to celebrate his birthday. Neil has been teased about getting old by the cricket team, but he is planning to show them up by winning the single wicket. Susan tells Neil that, while talking to Clarrie, she discovered Will would like another baby but Nic is set against it.
Jolene tells Kenton that Kathy called round. She was angry that Jolene hadn’t reduced Jamie’s hours to leave him more time to revise. Jamie hadn’t asked her to but, now Jolene knows, she plans to reduce his hours.
Jill also tries to talk to Elizabeth. She’s worried about David and is convinced that nobody can be blamed for Nigel’s death. Elizabeth, however, won’t be reasoned with, insisting she holds David wholly responsible for destroying her family.
