Out in the Lower Loxley grounds, Elizabeth briefs Roy before the next wedding event. They also discuss other upcoming events, clarifying Roy’s role. Roy is keen and has lots of questions, resolving to brush up on the areas he’s less sure of.
David checks on the grassland for Elizabeth. He concludes it will need a good aerating to avoid the build up of decaying vegetation. David organises the machine hire for a grateful Elizabeth and even offers to do the job himself. The aerator will be delivered by the end of the week and it’ll only take a couple of days to complete.
Clarrie is in pain having lost a filling thanks to one of Joe’s humbugs. On her way to the dentist, she drops in to see Kathy. Clarrie has no plans for her birthday on Thursday, but Kathy says she has to work. They also discuss Jamie; Kathy feels they may be turning a corner.
Later on, Will pops round to see Clarrie to invite her, Eddie and Joe over on Thursday for a birthday meal. Will mentions that Helen is looking really well and happy with little Henry. They chat about Pat and Tony. Will readily agrees when Clarrie says you should always respect your children’s choices.
