Jolene is trying to think what to write in a Christmas card to Sid’s daughter Lucy. Fallon helps her out and suggests they enclose a lovely picture of Sid.
Kenton offers to take Kirsty out to lunch but Ian gets in first; he’s taking Helen out, so Kirsty is left minding the shop. Kenton takes the opportunity to visit The Bull to ask Fallon how Jamie’s getting on.
Helen discusses her pregnancy with Ian. She says that Amy was very helpful yesterday and mentions that her dad came round. Helen’s distressed by the fact Tony seemed uncomfortable; she thinks he couldn’t wait to get away. Ian offers to paint the nursery for Helen who wishes her dad could be more like him.
Jolene and Kenton have a heart to heart. Jolene admits she’s thought about moving away as everywhere in Ambridge seems to remind her of Sid. Kenton wonders whether she would really be happier somewhere that didn’t remind her of Sid.
Helen goes to see Pat and apologises for losing it last week. She then delights her mum by shyly telling her the names she’s considered calling the baby.
