35 Glass half full or glass half empty?Tasters for 28th August – 2nd September

Some of our of our favourite villagers are full of optimism and have glasses half full this week, some even find their glasses running over, whilst of course there are plenty of half empty glasses around as well…

Believe it or not there is some good news spreading in Ambridge this week –well Brenda and Tom are trying to find some good news to publicise at least!  With the wait for exam results over Pip has made romantic holiday plans, Kathy is relieved that Jamie seems to have turned a corner thanks to his girlfriend whilst Jim and Bert are making plans for Joe’s big birthday, and of course Phoebe is off for her big adventure to South Africa, but that is not cause for celebration for everyone…

But the news is not all good…

There is still an air of gloom at Bridge Farm as bad news spreads like wild fire and Tony has his head in the books which don’t quite add up.  Jazzer has his beauty sleep disturbed by a rowdy neighbour whilst Clarrie is still without a job and feeling the pinch.  Kenton and Josh have to draw their fishy business to a close and finally James and Leonie are back, and managing to rub some people up the wrong way.
Pour yourself a full glass and settle down for the week ahead ...it’s The Archers!

Listen in on Monday to hear James and Leonie’s antics at the Open Gardens and don’t miss a touching scene between father and son on Wednesday

34 Cooking up a storm!Everyone is cooking up a storm in Ambridge this week!

Left to his own devices Jazzer trys his hand at being a chef, Jennifer is giving cookery lessons, whilst thrifty Alice is concocting strawberry delights.  Harry ‘spices’ up a night out and Susan is messing with the yogurt & moaning about the big cheese – Brian!

 Sizzling storylines…

But at Bridge Farm it is out of the frying pan and into the fire as events unfold while Tom and Brenda get their fingers truly burnt.  Away from the kitchen Brian is trying to keep his plans on track despite them ol’ bones.  Peggy is cooking up a plan to help a friend but it seems no one can help Clarrie as she can’t help herself.

Hungry for more?  Then tune in …it’s The Archers!

Tune in on Tuesday for  some good news and bad news and have a giggle with Harry, Jazzer and Zophia on Friday
