21 Walk SignTasters for 19-24th May 2013

It’s no walk in the park in Ambridge this week as Lilian’s affair picks up apace and Elona prepares to make her exit…

Will Lilian and Paul walk hand in hand into the sunset, or will they go their separate ways like Darrell and Elona? Who knows, but Matt seems to be running rings around them both. It all looks like a lot of hard work, but Marathon Matt might be in this for the long game. Keeping steady, is he getting ready to pick up the pace and finally make his move, or will he go the extra mile to secure the love of his playful pusscat?

Elsewhere in Ambridge…

Unable to hack it and desperate to escape the men in her life, Lilian goes on a hack, and it’s single file all the way. Meanwhile, Brian’s on the warpath this week, and I wouldn’t want to get in his way - he’s quite ferocious when he gets the bit between his teeth! Having discovered that her parents aren’t the walkover she thought, Pip’s still going nowhere fast, while Tom’s cock of the walk, all puffed up and strutting his stuff - let’s just hope he doesn’t run before he can walk. Why not take a stroll around Ambridge?... It’s The Archers!

Tune in for some fun and games on Sunday, and Jennifer would hate you to miss the launch of the latest edition of Borsetshire Life on Tuesday…

20 bucket and spade

Tasters for 12-17th May 2013

We start the week with a trip to the seaside, but who’s riding the waves and who’s got sand in their swimming costume?!

Bucket and spade in hand, Lilian seems to be digging herself into a pretty deep hole this week. Will Matt help her out of it, or simply look on as the tide creeps closer? Needless to say, it’s all getting a bit tense at The Dower House – or should that be The Dour House? Still, Lilian’s looking forward a summer break, assuming there isn’t a break-up first...

Elsewhere in Ambridge

Tom’s paddling hard against the current, his eyes besmirched by salty tears, but there’s a glimmer on the horizon and land is in sight. There’s only one coastline of interest to Jazzer, and that’s the Scottish coast. He’s feeling particularly patriotic this week and pushes for a Scottish vote. Meanwhile, Pip flings herself on the beach at the unfairness of it all, but David refuses to capitulate to this crabby creature, even though she does have quite a nip. Grab your sun cream and an ice lolly… It’s The Archers!

Darrell speaks out of turn on Monday and join the fray at Paul’s on Friday

Sunday: A trip to the seaside
Monday: The penny drops
Tuesday: A vote for Scotland!
Wednesday: Double standards
Thursday: The great escape

19 apprentice

Tasters for 5-10th May 2013

The folk of Ambridge mean business this week, but while some are seeking new employment, others wish they could stay exactly where they are…

Josh is one pinstripe suit and a pointy finger away from becoming the next Lord Sugar, wheeling and dealing his way through meetings with Neil and his parents. Can he out manoeuvre them all to get what he wants? If ambition is anything to go by, Josh may well be Ambridge’s next apprentice. Meanwhile, the listening nation eagerly awaits the day David plucks up enough courage to tell Pip she’s fired!

Elsewhere in Ambridge…

It’s far from business as usual at Bridge Farm, where Tom mends his broken heart, Pat prepares for the big herd sale, and Tony tries to keep a lid on the village rumour mill – quite a job in Ambridge! It’s all change with Elona too, as she considers a change of husband, a change of scene, and a change of job. Alan has to put his business hat on with his cassock and grab a calculator this week, thanks to the pressing need for St Stephens to make a quick buck. Everyone knows that money doesn’t grow on trees, but with some seeds, sun and a little water, Clarrie and Jill think they can grow the church’s funds, and they mean business… It’s The Archers!

Josh works his magic on Monday, Tuesday is date night and Paul puts his spin on things on Thursday…

Sunday: Tittle-tattle for Tony
Monday: Bad news for Bridge Farm?
Tuesday: Helen doesn’t hold back
Wednesday: Matt turns mole
Thursday: Paul tells a porky
Friday: Josh tries his pitch

Quit: No more Borsetshire Life for Jim
Fired: Poor Tom
Promoted: Josh has his fingers crossed and his piggy bank standing by
