David became Vice-Chairman of the local NFU, Brenda was awarded a degree, Pip passed her GCSEs, but didn’t fit in at college. Chris and Kenton sported tattoos - Kathy made a fool of Kenton. Elizabeth and Lynda were secret gardeners, Joe dug for treasure. Neil chased bad debts, Matt raced motorways. Alistair was made cricket captain, Ed accepted the tenancy of Grange Farm. Annette found work in the shop, Brenda was unemployed. Lynda became step-grandmother and cosseted Coriander and Oscar; Leonie put the knife in.
