Trevor Harrison was born in Stourbridge and trained at the Birmingham Theatre School. He has worked in theatre and has made several tours, including playing the lead role in Graham Harvey’s Box of Ears. His TV appearances include Get Some In, Stig of the Dump and Crossroads. He has presented many radio shows and has made a number of records. He became Eddie Grundy in 1979 and is a director of the Archers Addicts Fan Club. His work for charity and the pleasure he has given listeners with his characterisation of Eddie earned him an MBE in 2001. He lives with his wife Annette and their border collie Bonnie in a small village in South Worcestershire.
