Lorraine Coady
It's been on the cards for a while. Addicts have noticed that Roy Tucker has been virtually single for over a year with many a mention of Hayley but no words from her! We were being asked whether Roy was the Ambridge Bluebeard with Hayley tucked up in a cupboard, or had she become an Ambridge agoraphobic? We can now reveal that the actress Lucy Davis ('Dawn' in BBC 2's fabulouly successful 'The Office'), is pursuing a highly successful career in the States and that finally the character of Hayely has been re-cast. Lorraine Cody has been chosen. We looked out her biography and have discovered the following facts!

Lorraine Coady trained as an actor and teacher at Exeter University. She has lectured in Drama at Bydgoszcz University, Poland, and directed projects at the Canal Cafe Theatre and the Soho Theatre. In 2004 she was invited by the British Council to the Theatre House, Denmark to lead the devising of a new touring show about national identity (in Danish!).

Lorraine has recently returned from performing a festival of new writing at Birmingham Rep Theatre, where she is also an Education Associate. She has devised and performed with companies including Graeae Theatre, Greenwich Young Peoples' Theatre and Catalyst Theatre.
