Born in Malta, Alison wanted to be a ballerina but developed a passion for acting. She has toured Canada, Thailand and Egypt with the London Shakespeare Group. Television credits include Crossroads, Emmerdale Farm and The Camomile Lawn, and film credits include Bugsy Malone, Silver Bears and Little Dorrit. Alison is married with two sons.
